Product Overview

The Amphibious Trauma Kit (ATAK) addresses a critical gap in emergency preparedness: most trauma kits are not designed for wet or maritime environments. NAR engineered the ATAK to perform in coastal patrol, maritime law enforcement, watercraft emergency response, dive operations, and adventure travel scenarios where exposure to water is inevitable and life-threatening injuries demand immediate intervention.

The kit's waterproof hard case protects its contents from submersion, spray, and humidity — maintaining sterility and functionality when conventional soft-sided kits would be compromised. The internally compartmentalized layout allows responders to locate and deploy specific categories of supplies without emptying the case, a critical feature under stress conditions on a moving vessel or in rough terrain.

From the inclusion of two C-A-T® CoTCCC-recommended tourniquets and QuikClot® Z-Fold dressings to SAM® Splints and HyFin® Vent Chest Seals, the ATAK is built around evidence-based hemorrhage control and trauma management protocols. Bear Claw™ nitrile gloves (four pairs), a CPR Microshield Mask, trauma shears, and a pocket penlight round out the personal protection and assessment toolkit.
