The Chase Tactical Double 5.56 Mag Pouch delivers reliable, accessible two-magazine carry in a compact side-by-side MOLLE footprint. Designed around 5.56mm STANAG-compatible magazines (30-round AR-15/M4 pattern), this pouch uses a bungee retention system that secures each magazine independently without requiring a flap or cover that slows access. Under deliberate grip and upward pull, the bungee gives way cleanly; under movement and inversion, the magazine stays put.
Hypalon pull tabs — a synthetic rubber-reinforced fabric with exceptional tensile strength and grip even when wet or gloved — are integrated into the bungee retention on each magazine compartment. Hypalon is preferred over standard nylon for retention pulls because it maintains grip characteristics across a wide temperature range and does not compress or stiffen like polyester under cold conditions.
The 500D solution-dyed Cordura outer layer is one of Chase Tactical's distinguishing material choices. Solution-dyed Cordura is woven from fibers colored during the extrusion process (rather than dyed after weaving), which means the color penetrates the entire fiber rather than just the surface.
