Product Overview

The D-BAG IFAK Pouch is a collaborative design between MED-TAC International Corp. and 6:8 Medical Solutions, built around the operator's first principle in trauma response: the tools you need most must be reached first, fastest. Unlike conventional IFAK pouches that require multiple steps to access, the D-BAG places tourniquets on the outside of the pouch — where they belong — in dual elastic side holders. This means a casualty's most critical intervention, hemorrhage control, is accessible without ever opening the main compartment.

The main compartment opens via rubberized pull handles designed for positive grip even with wet or gloved hands. Inside, a laser-cut inner panel provides structured, low-profile organization using a mix of traditional elastic loops and a newer shock cord modular retention system, offering two functional storage levels. The main storage pouch accommodates two full-size Safeguard Medical Emergency Trauma Dressings (or equivalent bandages such as Hemguard), while the two adjacent narrow slots fit items like flat gauze, surgical tape, Battle Wrap, NPA, NDC, and similar consumables. A diagonal slot pocket on the outer face of the pouch provides instant access to gloves, shears, patient cards, and markers — without opening the main bag.

The rear mounting system uses a proprietary rapid-release MOLLE connection — a deliberate improvement over multi-clip or heavy Velcro systems that add seconds under stress. A single clean detach removes the pouch from any MOLLE-compatible platform for immediate treatment. The D-BAG is compatible with plate carriers, battle belts, chest rigs, vehicle mounts, and wall brackets. Dual External Tourniquet Holders Elastic side holders stage one tourniquet on each side of the pouch for immediate one-handed access — bypassing the main compartment entirely.

Laser-Cut Inner Panel Low-profile modular organization with elastic and shock cord retention. Fits standard trauma consumables in a compact footprint.

Two Recessed Internal Pockets Built beneath the laser-cut panel, these pockets provide a second storage layer for additional supplies, wound closure, or medication.
