ETD handles larger extremity and shoulder injuries, the 8 × 10 in. pad is designed for wounds that present across a larger surface area — blast pattern wounds, large-caliber exit wounds, partial amputations with significant tissue loss, burn wounds on the trunk, and thoracic injuries where multi-wound coverage from a single dressing is preferable.
The 8 × 10 in. non-adherent sterile wound pad is sewn directly onto the 4 in. elastic wrap, maintaining the ETD's characteristic one-piece design that eliminates loose components.
