Product Overview

The IFAK Velcro Pouch 2.0 – Small is the core pouch platform in Blue Ridge Overland Gear's modular medical storage ecosystem. It shares the same pouch body as the Headrest Kit variant but ships without the integrated headrest mounting straps, giving users flexibility to mount the pouch on any hook-and-loop-compatible surface, MOLLE platform, or flat vehicle surface where they want to position their trauma supplies. This versatility makes it appropriate for a wider range of use cases—from center console mounting to pack attachment to standalone EDC carry.

Built from 1000D red Cordura nylon in the USA, the pouch's high-visibility red color ensures immediate identification in a vehicle, bag, or gear room—a simple but important feature when seconds matter. The clamshell design opens fully flat, providing simultaneous access to the main compartment and the internal pouch. The front 6″ × 8.5″ Velcro loop field serves triple duty: medical identification patches, first aid instruction panels (printable reference cards for CPR, tourniquet application, or wound packing), and hook-and-loop compatible mini pouches for frequently accessed items.

The shock cord tourniquet retention at the base of the pouch stages a tourniquet externally for immediate access without requiring the main compartment to be opened. This design mirrors the TCCC and Stop the Bleed recommendation that tourniquets be immediately accessible—not buried inside a kit. Note: headrest mounting requires a separately purchased Headrest Velcro Panel; this pouch does not include integrated headrest straps.
