The Mojo® Shelter in Place Kit is Safeguard Medical's response to a critical gap in public safety preparedness: the shelter-in-place scenario. When an active threat forces building occupants into classrooms, offices, conference rooms, or closets and prevents evacuation to where bleeding control stations are mounted, this kit ensures hemorrhage control supplies are staged within sheltered areas — not just in hallways and public corridors.
Shelter-in-place bleeding control is an emerging requirement in school and corporate safety planning. Evacuation to a hallway AED cabinet or wall-mounted bleeding control station may not be possible when an active shooter is present in the building. Staging Mojo® Shelter in Place Kits inside classrooms, offices, and conference rooms addresses this gap, ensuring that a trauma victim can receive hemorrhage control without requiring a responder to leave the locked room to retrieve supplies from a hallway station.
The kit follows the same MARCH™ protocol alignment as the Mojo® Public Access Trauma Station, with the same three-tier content progression (Basic → Intermediate → Advanced) and the same MARCH™ card for responder guidance.
