Tactical EMTs, combat medics, and operational first responders face a challenge that their civilian EMS counterparts rarely encounter: they must deliver high-quality pre-hospital care while potentially under fire, in unconventional positions, and with limited time and visibility. A medical pack that requires unpacking to find a chest seal is a liability. The PARATUS Tactical Medical Pack was designed specifically for this operational context — by MED-TAC International, a clinician-founded, veteran-led organization that understands what the platform needs to do.

The seven internal modules feature clear-view windows so the medic can visually inventory the pack at a glance and locate specific items without touching anything — a critical time-saver in low-light environments or when working in bulky gloves. Each module is color-coded by system (hemorrhage, airway, IV/IO, etc.) so the medic's hand goes to the right module through trained muscle memory even when vision is compromised.

The lay-flat design opens the pack entirely to a flat working surface beside the patient — eliminating the need to prop the bag open while rummaging, and allowing both the medic and an assistant to access different sections simultaneously. The removable field surgery pouch gives forward surgical elements a deployable instrument carry option that detaches from the main bag when needed at a surgical site. Built-in tourniquet retention straps on the exterior provide immediate-access tourniquet staging for the most time-critical intervention in TCCC.
