Product Overview
The ROO M-FAK Bag from North American Rescue is one of NAR's most compact and versatile IFAK platforms, engineered for first responders who need immediate, single-handed tourniquet access before addressing other wounds. The hallmark feature is the dedicated front tourniquet compartment: a quick-open tab-pull pouch that allows the operator to deploy a CAT Gen 7 or similar tourniquet with one hand, without opening the main kit — enabling true self-aid in the critical window before losing fine motor skills.
The 500D nylon construction keeps weight minimal (8 oz empty) while providing adequate durability for patrol and field operations. The main compartment features multiple elastic loops to organize dressings, gauze, chest seals, and airway supplies. The exterior MOLLE backing allows standard vertical vest mounting, while a 3" internal belt sleeve enables horizontal attachment directly to a duty belt — putting the kit in the most ergonomically accessible position for each user's specific carry preference.
The ROO M-FAK Bag is also compatible with NAR's Quick Detach Panels (sold separately), which allows the entire medical panel to be ripped away from the carrying bag for treatment table deployment or transfer to another responder. This modular approach is popular in law enforcement contexts where immediate handoff of life-saving gear is part of the tactical plan.
