Product Overview

The StatPacks G3+ MEDSLINGER is the sling-format option in the StatPacks G3 family — a purpose-built EMS sling bag for providers who work in environments where a full backpack is too cumbersome, or where single-shoulder access and the ability to swing the bag to the front without removal are operationally important. At 23 liters and just 1.9–2.0 lbs, it fills the category between small IFAK pouches and large backpacks: a medium-capacity carry solution optimized for speed and ease of access.

The defining mechanical feature is the swing-access sling design: the foam-molded single shoulder strap allows the wearer to rotate the pack from behind the shoulder to the front of the body in one smooth motion — exposing both main compartments simultaneously for patient-side access — without removing the bag. This is particularly valuable during active ambulance response, event medical coverage, and sports medicine where the provider is moving frequently and cannot pause to set down a backpack and open it conventionally. The quick-release adjustable buckle allows the strap length to be customized for different providers and allows the bag to be removed and set down instantly when stationary patient care begins.

Both main compartments feature transparent and mesh pockets for immediate visual identification of contents without opening pouches. The large silicone zipper rings — a StatPacks signature feature — ensure smooth one-handed opening even with wet or gloved hands. The tarpaulin bottom panel provides abrasion and fluid resistance at the highest-contact surface. The ID window allows bag labeling for supply identification or crew accountability in multi-bag deployments.

Who Uses the MEDSLINGER

The MEDSLINGER has been adopted across three primary user categories: emergency medical services (ACLS, PALS, and BVM-focused ALS kits), sports medicine (certified athletic trainers at the NATA level and sideline medical coverage), and personal emergency response (civilians who carry a personal medical kit in a low-profile, non-clinical-appearing bag). Its sub-2-pound empty weight and sling design make it equally practical as a personal gear bag, gym bag, or daily-carry EMS pack for providers who prefer single-shoulder carry to traditional backpacks.
