The Vanquest JAVELIN-18 solves a classic carry dilemma by building a convertible system that transitions between two-shoulder backpack and single-shoulder sling in seconds. Removing one shoulder strap instantly changes the carry mode — giving users the stability and load distribution of a backpack for longer distances and the quick-access, swing-forward convenience of a sling for shorter movements or environments where the pack needs to be accessed frequently.
Construction quality is premium throughout: 1000-D Cordura® on the bottom and high-wear areas provides durability that far outlasts standard nylon bags, while DWR coating resists moisture penetration. YKK® RC Class zippers are Vanquest's zipper standard — among the most reliable available for tactical carry. The padded main compartment with two included dividers protects EDC items, photography equipment, or range gear while maintaining organization.
High-visibility loop lining throughout the interior allows patches and FATPack-style inserts to attach directly to the inner walls, enabling the JAVELIN-18 to be configured as a medical carry platform by adding Vanquest's FATPack-Pro inserts (sold separately) or directly attaching hook-backed organizational panels. The dedicated 14" tech sleeve adds utility for operators who carry tablets with mapping, communication, or medical reference software.
