The NAR WALK® (Warrior Aid & Litter Kit) is the US Army's official vehicle life-saving kit — selected through Department of Defense evaluation to be the standard medical and evacuation platform for ground vehicle crews across the Army inventory. The WALK's design concept addressed a recognized capability gap: vehicle crews needed a single system that could treat multiple trauma patients with complete supplies and immediately evacuate one casualty from a non-traditional vehicle, all from the same compact package.

The TALON® II 90C quad-fold litter at the kit's core is the Certified Safe-to-Fly rigid evacuation platform that transfers directly to rotary-wing MEDEVAC without patient repositioning. The Hypothermia Prevention & Management Kit (HPMK) addresses the leading secondary complication in trauma patients — hypothermia — with a dedicated thermal management system that stabilizes core temperature during transport. Adjustable shoulder straps allow the bag to be worn on target when the kit is used for treatment and evacuation rather than vehicle-based staging.

The WALK® interfaces with any standard or non-standard TACEVAC asset — including helicopters, ground vehicles, boats, and litter-carry teams — through the TALON II 90C's NATO-compatible platform dimensions. The CCRK®-WALK® bag design provides pocket-level organization for all medical supplies while maintaining the compact cube weight needed for vehicle storage. The kit is available in five color options to match the operational camouflage pattern of any US or coalition unit.
